Tuesday 29th September…..Happy Birthday to my eldest son Garry.

Had a real relaxing day, taking photo’s, chatting with the neighbours. Caught up with Jo and took the saw blades we donated for her museum she is getting up and running.

Looking across the wetlands, lake is low. Echidna. Black Fronted Dotterel. These birds are so tiny. Pale Head Rosella Emu, I didnt see it until it moved, well camouflaged. Juvenile Red Winged Parrot Red-Winged Parrot Young Whistling Kite. It was being annoyed by the Willy Wagtail. Double Barred Finch I’m not sure if this is a Mulga Parrot. Tree-creeper. Night Shooting.

Saturday 26th April

Weather not looking to good, but we did get a break so thought we’d go and see the Tamar Wetlands in Launceston. So close to the city it’s incredible. Get a good view of the hills that are built on.

Looking down onto Sea Port Tamar wetlands and looking over towards the built up area of Launceston Information centre at the wetlands, also very good view out onto the wetlands. Very hilly place Launceston, town seems to be down in the valley and houses all up around on the hills, very beautiful place.
