Day 113

Tuesday 23rd June.

How nice to wake up warm, slept with only long thermals, awesome.  Cloudy day may get a shower but heading off to see Cam falls. Well we got to do three falls, weather held off nicely until we got home then it rained, so lucky, saw Cam, Joseph and Guide falls. When we got back I did a big cook up and made some yum yum balls, we showered then did the washing and drying, all set for heading off tomorrow.

Day 80

Wednesday 20th May

Well it was a very cold night, woke early and went to the kitchen and made a drink, wrapped myself in a big cuddly blanket and was drinking it when the other traveller chap popped his head in and was shocked to see me, this is at 5 am. When the sun rose it was so foggy, i got dressed and went out to take photo’s. We then had breakfast and headed off to St Columba Falls, what a sight, just to massive to fit in one shot. The forest was beautiful, just love the green moss on all the dead trees and the Punga ferns are massive.

Day 55

Sunday 5th

Went for a drive up to Paluma, called in at Little Crystal Creek Falls, great water holes and water falls. Then onto Birthday   Creek Falls, then went to Paluma Dam Camping area. Spent time here and on way home called into Big Crystal Creek Falls. This is a nice area to camp if one didn’t want to go up the range. Called into Balgal Beach, wow I really loved this beach area and the camping looked good. Trees, toilets, estuary and surf.
