Heading to Deloraine

Did a few bits before leaving for Deloraine,  Stopped again at Christmas Hills for my fix of Raspberries and chocolate coated ones. This is a lovely town, very old buildings. The freedom camping is close enough to walk into town, good dump point and nice drinking water, Thanks Deloraine, we spent heaps on groceries and stocked up. Heres a few images of Halls point before leaving.

Halls point  Halls Point looking North.  Halls point looking south.  Rocks at the point.  Deloraine, railway bridge over the Meander river.  Looking towards town.  View from the entry of freedom camping. Very bedraggled Starling. Think it was molting as there were many like this one.

Halls Point Day 3

Heard the Penguins today so going out to the area tonight. Lots of Penguin tracks this morning on the beach. Good sign. Did another walk to shops, its 3 km so my daily exercise.

View looking west from our camping spot.  Mutation European Finch.  Silver eye.  Looking up into the hills from camping area.  Mutation European Finch  Bull rushes.  White Butterfly.  Penguin tracks.  Having fun with Seagulls.  Rocks Baby penguin emerging out for a stretch, did you know they don’t poop in the burrow. I witnessed this.
